How do I obtain an Idaho 100% VA Home Loan? Many veterans looking to purchase a home in Idaho have frequent questions about how they go about obtaining a VA loan. Below are the steps involved:
- Select me as your trusted VA loan specialist, present me with your Certificate of Eligibility if available and the items below, If you do not have your Certificate of Eligibility I can also obtain a Certificate of Eligibility on your behalf.
1. Two years of prior W2′s.
2. Two previous month’s bank statements.
3. 30 day current paystubs
4. DD 214 (long form).
5. Any investment statements(i.e. 401k, Retirement etc.).
6. If self-employed, 2 years prior tax returns.
7. If divorced in the last 7 years, a copy of your divorce decree.
8. If you’ve had a bankruptcy in the past 10 years, a copy of your bankruptcy paperwork.
- After reviewing the above documents I will be able to let you know the decision on the loan. We should have no problem getting you approved if the established value, loan amount, credit and income are acceptable.
- Once you are approved you find a home you like and make a purchase offer. If you don’t have an Idaho realtor you are currently working with to find your new home I have agents I can refer you too.
- Last you attend the closing. Sign the note, mortgage, and other related papers and then you move in and enjoy your new home.
